Just how long does a product have to be lying on the shelf after being put back by an indecisive customer before you can send in your 14 year old son to elbow them out of the way and fetch it for you?
Tonight I updated my freeview service to receive HD services. Just in time for the World Cup. It was touch and go however as the last Freeview HD box was actually residing under the arm of another shopper. I sensed however that he was undecided and as long as i didn't show any interest in it he might not realise just what it was he was holding. So with our backs turned and pretending to look at wireless printers we waited to see what happened next. Shortly he did indeed replace the box from whence it came. I had to hold my son back until the time was right, but when was that? As the gentleman turned away I unleashed the dogs of war, well my teenage son. He must stop at nothing! He came belting round the corner with the box under his arm, i didn't ask how he got it but we made a bee line for the exit.
Having spent the night now watching three channels of HD i reckon it's over rated!
