Bleddy Eejits!

You are all bleedin' plonkers. All of you, you that went out panic buying fuel, every last one of you. Not as bleddy stoopid as the coalition government , I grant you but bonkers none the less. I read the news that said the unions have to give 7 days notice. So I knew i had at least that long before I knew a strike would happen. I did get some diesel for my car on Thursday morning and noted my usual forecourt was a little busy. I only bought 15 litres though. So come Friday night when my fuel warning light came on I had a hell of a job to find a garage with any diesel left. I was left with a choice, give up and go home and wait for the dust to settle and try again after the weekend (just as well my son didn't have a football match and I am now on a two week vacation) or carry on to one more forecourt in the knowledge that I probably didn't have enough to get home. Thankfully the garage did have diesel. I didn't fill up as it was way more expensive than I usually pay. 

The dangerous part and the reason you should all hang your heads in shame is that people carrying out vital services were denied fuel to carry out their duties. I know of a community nurse who was unable to make her rounds that day because she wasted so long in the queue for fuel. Hers was not an isolated example. Bleddy eejits

Today I did finally fill right up as I am making a long journey in a few days and will need it but I did share a story with the guy behind the counter. A BMW rolled into his store and put in £3.95 (2.7 litres) into his car. He was following government advice to top up. He probably used that just getting to and from his house!

I have vented my spleen at this government evertime i have mentioned them but this just took the biscuit. Bleddy ijits. They claim they wanted to build some resilience in the system all they did was to make it grind to a halt. and by the time any strike actually happens we will go through this all over again. If the unions wanted to take a pot shot at the government they got what they wanted. Plonkers didn't just shoot themselves in the foot they damn near blew their own leg off!
