Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Roll up! Roll Up! Your Future Is At Stake!

Just another day on the road to the referendum. If any of you are asking yourselves to which referendum I am referring then you I will be around shortly to beat you around the shins with a rolled up copy of the Daily Mirror!

It is of concern to me that in my most used source of news traffic (Dear old Auntie Beeb!)  has taken to applying a link in just about every news story, where some mainstream politician (Or frankly any barking mad one) has stood in front of a camera and made bizarre claims about what will happen when we stay/leave the EU. The link is to a section titled "Reality check". Now don't get me wrong, This is actually an invaluable service to the average punter, such as myself. Okay all right I know I am not average. You got me. But the site does try to break down the numbers and separate fact from fantasy.

A couple of Muppets

The concern is that the BBC has to do this. We are being expected to back a bunch of politicians into thinking that their way is the right and proper way. However we can't trust any of them to speak honestly. There is spin and hubris at every turn. 

First David Cameron tells us WW III is the next stop on the Brexit battle bus and then we have Boris Johnson raising Hitler's shadow by suggesting this is what he would have wanted (Minus the Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, Physically and mentally challenged and any political opponents obviously Boris). I am not Sure Hitler was really into women's rights but then we never really gave him a chance to expound his views on shared maternity leave before we bombed Germany back into the stone age.

I think this just plays into the Remain camps hands. 

My personal view at the moment is that we are safer in the hands of "faceless Brussels bureaucrats" than we are with the buffoons and morons currently trying to get us to vote one way or the other!
