Grumpy old git

I was such a miserable old fart last night. And for that I apologise. I was grumpy for a reason however.

My grump is over for now. 

To cheer myself up, as a way of therapy. I cooked up some soup late into the night. I bought a celeriac and some bacon lard ons and got stirring.

It wasn't too bad but the flavour the next day rather reminded me of my Mum's usual last desperate bid to feed us Turkey over the holidays. Turkey soup. She makes a stock out of the carcase and the rib of beef and the gammon bone. Well I don't like to ask too closely what goes in it for fear of actually finding out!

The worst part though was what my soup did to my blender. It fell apart. The pyrex just shattered when i went to clean it. Ah well boxing day sales start soon!
