Ah ha!

Just had a 48 hours of sheer terror.

My Laptop decided to go down for a while. I was bereft, cut off from the world. It felt like I had had a major limb removed. Worse still I was afraid I might have to take the damn thing to a shop to get it fixed. I am not entirely comfortable with the concept of a stranger browsing some of my files!

I fixed it myself thankfully. I had somehow corrupted a file in my start up folder. So I chucked it out, downloaded a bunch of updates plus a new firewall and hey presto here I am typing in the blogosphere as though nothing had happened.

What a relief!
